Ben Dunham is Associate Legislative Counsel in Earthjustice's Policy and Legislation program in Washington, D.C., where he lobbies Congress and federal agencies for stronger laws and regulations to reduce air pollution and toxic chemicals. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Alabama in 2001, and his law degree in 2005 from the University of North Carolina, where he served on a UNC Environmental Moot Court team that finished fourth out of more than 80 law schools at a national competition. He was also elected President of the UNC Environmental Law Project in 2004. Before joining Earthjustice in July 2007, Ben worked on federal global warming policy at the U.S. Public Interest Research Group. He is a member of the Washington bar.
