The beauty of the California coast is hard to beat, just about anywhere along its 840 mile length. And the views of the Pacific Ocean with its abundant wildlife can be breathtaking. But that ocean wildlife is at risk. Dangers abound for turtles, seabirds, sharks, and marine mammals.

Earthjustice is working hard throughout the Pacific to protect marine wildlife. In our Hawai'i office, we are working to protect sea turtles and others from the dangers of longline fishing. In Seattle, we are trying to get Endangered Species Act protections for orcas. And all the way up in our Juneau office, we've been doing our best to arrest the decline in the Steller sea lion population. The Pacific is a big place, and we're doing our best to cover it.
