Court halts gas line in roadless ColoradoThe 10th Circuit Court of Appeals halted construction of a natural gas line in roadless areas of western Colorado. The court still must decide whether to keep the injunction in place until a district court rules in a separate Earthjustice lawsuit.

Judge rules against state water law favoring developmentA state judge has struck down key parts of a Washington water law that would have allowed drastically expanded water use for development.
