Pollution in the Anacostia River

The Anacostia River runs through Washington, D.C., just blocks away from the Capitol and the White House. Unfortunately, years of neglect have turned this once vital waterway into one of America's dirtiest rivers. Earthjustice has been working with local groups to fight for a cleaner Anacostia River that residents and tourists will be able to enjoy.
